Maharashtra Private Placement Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2025

The Maharashtra Private Placement Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2025 was enacted to regulate the functioning of private placement agencies in Maharashtra, protect the interests of job seekers and employers, and prevent exploitation through unregistered or fraudulent agencies. All placement agencies operating in Maharashtra must obtain a Certificate of Registration.
